NSA SafeManager™
A modern practical course for Supervisors and Managers.
The eight modules will help managers explore their role and influence, legal responsibilities, hazards and controls, risk assessment and decision-making, incident and near-miss investigation, monitoring and improvement, human factors and culture, and leadership and communication.
This is a 2-day scenario based course where you will learn:
- Your role and influence on safety as a manager
- Legal responsibilities and accountability
- Hazards and effective, proportionate controls
- Risk assessment and everyday decision-making
- Incident and near-miss investigation
- Monitoring, learning, and continual improvement
- Human factors and safety culture
- Leadership, communication, and building trust
Assessment is completed by:
A practical, scenario-based assessment where you analyze an unfamiliar workplace scenario and reflect on your management response, rather than memorizing basic rules or key words.
We run open quarterly courses from our Wath Upon Dearne office (S63)
Cost for an open course is £295 + vat per person.
